We are having a ceremony this Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10:45 am at the Bartow High School softball field for Bob Fitzgerald. The 2010 softball team is dedicating the softball season to Coach Fitz. We have our pre-season classic on Saturday with 4 games slated for 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00. The BHS team plays at 11:00 and 5:00. Betty and some family members will be there for the ceremony. We would LOVE for all of Bob’s friends to be there. Former BHS softball players will be allowed in free and anyone that is staying just for the ceremony will also be allowed in free. It is $5.00 to attend the 4 games. We want everyone to help spread the word about the ceremony for Fitz because we feel like this will be uplifting for Fitz, Betty and the whole family. We expect a very large crowd. See you on Saturday. Thanks.
